IJKA SA 2024 Africa Championships Fund Raising

As proud representatives of the International Japan Karate-Do Association South Africa (IJKA SA), we are reaching out to you with a heartfelt request for support.

The reality in South Africa is that karate receives little to no government support. The sustainability of our sport and our ability to compete rely entirely on the generosity of individuals like you, as well as the support of corporate sponsors and fundraising efforts.

In November, we have a golden opportunity as IJKA SA hosts the Africa Championships in Gauteng. This event not only showcases the incredible talent within our country but also offers a chance for our students to compete on the global stage at next year’s World Championships. Additionally, the visit of the IJKA International Chief Instructor presents a unique training opportunity for our competitors.

We aspire to send a team to proudly represent the Yzerfontein and Darling dojos at this prestigious event. However, we cannot achieve this without your help. We are seeking to raise approximately R25,000 to cover the travel and accommodation expenses for our deserving students.

Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in helping us achieve our goal.

Together, let’s empower our youth, celebrate their achievements, and champion the spirit of karate in our communities. Thank you for your generosity and belief in our cause.
